Description: Feature class of current King County Metro Transit revenue routes. Current as of March 2018 (referred to as 181).Each route has two records - the inbound pattern and the outbound pattern. Only the main/most common portion of each route is shown. Tails and turnback varients are not included. There are a few routes that have 4 records - these routes have the same Route number but different routing extents on weekends or have a portion of the route that only runs during peak times.Routes with only one route number but with 4 data records:RTE_NAME 4SH - shuttle variant of the Route 4 - weekdays only.RTE_NAME 28X is the all-day routing for the route 28XRTE_NAME 28XP is the portion of the route 28X that runs only during peak periods M-FRTE_NAME 62NW is the night and weekend routing RTE_NAME 74SH is the midday shuttle of the peak route 74.ROUTE_NAME 372X is the extent of route 372X that runs all-day M - FROUTE_NAME 372XS is the extent of the route 372X that only runs on WeekdendsROUTE_NAME1240 is the late night/night owl routing for the 124 (to SeaTac Airport)ROUTE_NAME 628X is the portion of the 628 that runs only during the peak.ATTRIBUTE FIELDS: RTE_NUM: Route number, numeric. This includes the internal numeric route number for text based routes such as RapidRide and StreetcarsRTE_NAME: Route number with text when necessary. X = Express route; EXS and EXP - see above.LOC_EXP: L = Local; X = Express. These are the internal Metro designations for the route. A route with an Express designation generally means that some stops along some portion of the route are skipped.DIR_NAME: Prominent direction of the inbound or outbound pattern.DIR_CODE: IN = Inbound; OUT = OutboundOPR_AGENCY: Agency that operates the route. KCM = King County Metro; HPL = Hopelink; SVT = Snoqualmie Valley Transit OWN_AGENCY: Agency that owns the route.
